Trussardi Men’s Collection Fall/Winter 2014-15 is dedicated to the contemporary hero of a mysterious modern spy story: a righteous avenger with two souls – romantic and fierce – that reflect the intrinsic characteristics of the brand. Exquisite tailoring, tradition, and aristocratic elegance blend with the futuristic and minimalist shiny leather in a simple, versatile and pragmatic wardrobe of the man envisioned by the brand’s Creative Director Gaia Trussardi. Long trench coats or new biker jackets in minimalist leather are worn with tailored Prince of Wales check cashmere/wool trousers of pinstriped suits. Camel’s-hair wool coats and oversized sweaters are paired up with shiny leather cigarette trousers.
Silhouettes are often squared and minimalist but enriched by a combination of fabrics as in the double-breasted reverse shearling coat or in the wool and leather coats with a classic yet futuristic look. Small leather oval logos featuring the elegant greyhound are discreetly applied to garments. Knitwear features both large and small cable-stitch motifs, while sporty cotton fleece sweatshirts in fabric and plaid neoprene, in black and teal are worn over cool leather trousers with attitude. Wide mélange wool scarves and silk ascots worn with nonchalance give the looks an attractive sense of comfort and warmth.
Large roomy bags are the perfect accessories and an indubitable strength of Trussardi: there are Boston bags with handles and shoulder straps;  ultra-light deconstructed backpacks with zip-around closures and padded leather straps skillfully; shiny crocodile minimal bags, inspired by Trussardi’s archives from the nineties.
