MashTru takes a look at the many moments and epochs of Trussardi with the attitude of Tru Trussardi, the most playful, creative and fashion-forward soul of Trussardi Group lines.
Three “C’s” with attitude and irony define the Tru Trussardi woman for Spring/Summer 2015: candy – cyber – chic. Silhouettes are relaxed, feminine yet hip: elegant short skirts are worn with bomber jackets cinched at the waist and loose cropped jackets with three-quarter sleeves; lace is used as a geometric insert, and the new water-resistant duster coat is a star. Candy colors and sorbet nuances are paired up with metallic details and vibrant hues such as electric blue and fire engine red.
Stripes, geometric cuts and layered lines characterize futuristic looks: A-line mini-dresses with Lurex inserts, biker jackets, and all-leather outfits are delightful with their unconventional sleek patchwork motifs made of different leathers. Lightness is the buzzword for the silk jumpsuit, the palm leaf print on leather and crisp cotton, and vintage-look denim with lace patchwork appliqués on a marbleized background.
Three “E’s” describe him: eclectic, eccentric, elitist. . Its tongue-in-cheek styling and, especially, its attitude are inspired by the world of sports, as a new cotton fleece parka with banana leaf print and oversized pleated trousers. The Hawaiian print stars on chambray suits, bomber jackets, and sweatshirts.
Vintage tie prints from the archive of the maison revolutionize the classic white shirt, sweatshirt, and new K-way jacket. Must-have five-pocket jeans come in a sensuous marbleized treatment and with a fabulous hand-applied all-over tempera paint embellishment.
