When symbols of Italian excellence share values such as tradition, prestige and dynamism, the birth of a partnership is a natural consequence. Announcing a special partnership for the 2013-14 season, Trussardi and Juventus presented to the public the luxurious new team wardrobe made by the brand of the greyhound. The two share an affinity for creativity and a desire to renew two worlds such as fashion and football, which have both represented Italian success abroad.
Fine tailoring meets innovative materials
The team in black and white, affectionately called "La Vecchia Signora" [The Grand Dame], is known for its elegance on and off the field. Trussardi celebrates this elegance by creating a complete wardrobe: a formal blue suit with a jacket, trousers, shirt and tie personalized with the Juventus logo and a second look for less formal occasions that is ideal when the players are on the road. The style combines fine tailoring and innovative materials such as ultra-light waterproof nappa leather used for the parka. Besides a beauty case personalized with the players' monograms and a garment bag, Trussardi also presents a trolley in black crespo, an iconic material of the brand, embellished with a white natural leather Trussardi oval logo at its center.
A team of champions also off the field
The partnership was presented on Thursday, May 16 in Café Trussardi during a press conference with TV host Ilaria d'Amico as moderator. Afterwards, a special breakfast was prepared and served by top players Buffon, Pirlo, Matri, Storari, Chiellini, Peluso, and Bonucci. What do you think of Juventus' new game plan?
